Our full-service preventive maintenance includes the following:

·       Pre-cleaning evaluation and inspection

·       Clean optics, filters, and light source window

·       Check and clean reticles as needed

·       Clean exterior and remove non-applicable labels

·       Check and adjust parafocality

·       Check paracentration

·       When needed, remove old lubricant and relubricate focus assembly, stage, etc.

·       Set up proper illumination, if microscope is capable (Koehler)

·       Note proper bulb use

·       Minor repairs at no charge (that do not need parts ordered)

·       Major repairs completed at the direction of the client (additional charges will apply)

·       Affix date of service label

·       Post-cleaning evaluation and inspection

·       Any malfunctions of the microscope are documented and explained to the client

·       Individual service reports provided to customer as certificates for inspections
